Radio Frequency Awareness

Radio Frequency Awareness

Radio Frequency (RF) Radiation is an occupational hazard.  Working in an RF environment can be hazardous.  Be sure your employer has provided proper training prior to exposure, follow your employer’s RF Safety Program, site specific RF Safety Plan and obey all posted signs.  The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has established occupational RF energy human exposure limits for trained workers who have been made fully aware of potential exposure risks and can exercise control over such exposure.  Identify any potential hazardous exposure, implement a plan using appropriate controls, continuously monitor, review, and revise the plan as conditions change.
