About NATE

For over twenty-eight years, NATE has been the unified voice of the tower erection, service and maintenance industry.

Founded on March 31, 1995, NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association is a non-profit trade association that provides members with uniform safety standards, improved communications, and a unified voice to help shape the future of the tower industry. NATE does not allow for price or territorial collusion among its members.

Over 60 companies representing all facets of the tower industry were present at the first gathering in Dallas, Texas. Today the Association boasts over 995 member companies located throughout the United States, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Jamaica, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Trinidad and the United Kingdom.

Hard work, dedication and the pursuit of excellence has transformed NATE from a small group of determined tower service companies to a nationally recognized leader in safety, education and standards.

NATE has proven that a good idea coupled with relentless effort can take you a long way — but there is still much more for NATE to accomplish. From consistency in training to a role in developing federal regulations, NATE members have proven that getting involved makes a difference.
