NATE, SBA Communications Corporation, MILLERCO and Communications International Host Mississippi Congressman Mike Ezell on Tower Site Visit

(East Moss Point, MS) – NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association and member companies SBA Communications Corporation and MILLERCO today facilitated an opportunity for Congressman Mike Ezell to conduct a communications tower site visit in the 4th Congressional District of Mississippi.
During the site visit, Congressman Ezell toured the communications tower compound with event participants from NATE, SBA Communications Corporation, MILLERCO and Communications International to learn about the work that is conducted daily by vertical real estate companies, contractors, and technicians to build, maintain and deploy communications sites and related wireless/broadband infrastructure.
The SBA Communications Corporation tower site, in East Moss Point, is a new addition to the Jackson County Public Safety Network. MILLERCO is a Mississippi-based, NATE member contractor involved in the implementation of installing the P25 radio systems on towers in Jackson County. The radio system is being designed and implemented by Communications International. Congressman Ezell, as a former County Sheriff, appreciated the critical nature of a push to talk communications system more than most.
The event also provided an invaluable forum for Congressman Ezell to discuss the importance of broadband connectivity to Mississippi’s 4th District and his overall legislative priorities in the 118th Congress. Additionally, local elected officials and representatives from the county emergency communications were also on hand at the event.
