(Hartford, SD) – NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association and member company ANCO today facilitated an opportunity for Congressman Dusty Johnson to conduct a meeting and facility tour at the ANCO corporate headquarters in Hartford, South Dakota.

During the event, representatives from ANCO and NATE were on hand to discuss the policy issues important to the company and association, respectively. ANCO is a member company of NATE. The timing of the meeting was especially important given the recent announcement by the Biden Administration/NTIA regarding South Dakota’s Broadband Equity Access & Deployment (BEAD) allocation of funding.

The meeting and tour also provided an invaluable forum for Congressman Johnson to discuss the importance of broadband connectivity to South Dakota and his overall legislative priorities in the 118th Congress.

“It was a privilege to host Congressman Johnson today at our company’s headquarters,” said Mike Young, President & CEO of ANCO. “The communications infrastructure industry is interfacing with policy makers at the federal and state levels more than ever before and these visits are great forums to educate elected officials on the opportunities and challenges confronting companies like ANCO,” added Young.
