NATE Members Advocate for Industry Priorities at 2023 Congressional Fly-In Event on Capitol Hill
(Washington, D.C.) – Ninety (90) representatives from NATE member companies converged in Washington, D.C. this week to participate in the Association’s 2023 Congressional Fly-In event on Capitol Hill. On Wednesday, May 17, NATE members demonstrated their grassroots prowess by participating in approximately 120 individual meetings with Members of Congress and their respective policy staff.
During the meetings, NATE members advocated for the industry’s priorities such as workforce development, broadband funding, streamlining the permitting process and agency delays to expedite the deployment of communications infrastructure, commercial spectrum access, network security/supply chain issues, tower safety and reducing regulations on small businesses.
