Our three day Wind Turbine Fall Protection and Rescue course teaches the most common fall protection methods along with applicable governmental regulations and standards. The student will become familiar with the most commonly-used methods and safety systems for protecting workers against fall risks that can occur on wind turbines. It teaches the student best practices for avoiding falls, and the effects of suspension trauma. The rescue component of the course is taught using the rescue systems that are used by the employer, so that the student will receive a practical understanding of the equipment that they would need to use in the event where conducting a rescue is necessary. The course meets the Course Training Standards (CTS) for a Competent Climber and for an Authorized Rescuer issued by NATE.
