Jessica Cobb is CEO of MDTS, a certified WBENC/WOSB Michigan-based contractor providing equipment installation services for wireless networks. In this position she manages client relations, estimating, company compliance, and talent development, but has worked in all areas of the company, including field operations. Having grown a company from the ground up, Jessica understands the challenges faced by contractors in the communications infrastructure industry and has comprehensive insight on contractor-focused current affairs through communication with a large network of industry stakeholders nationwide.
An inherent penchant for the continuous improvement of processes, personnel, and production quality is the driving force behind Jessica’s involvement in a variety of associations, groups, and mentorship programs. Currently, she is on the NATE Board of Directors and is seated on both the Warriors4Wireless and Michigan Wireless Association Board of Directors. Jessica is an active member of the Women of NATE (WON) committee, Chairwoman of the WON Newsletter, Board Oversight for the Military of NATE Committee, and previously served on the NATE Member Services Committee. Additionally, she participates as a representative for small business advocacy through NATE Congressional Fly-Ins, the Avetta Telecom Advisory committee, WBENC programs, and Goldman Sachs 10KSB initiatives.
Important issues to Jessica include workforce development through veteran employment, inclusion of women in skilled trades, and initiatives for a sustainable industry ecosystem. As an entrepreneur with companies in a variety of industries, Jessica is a dynamic, multi-skilled leader with a proficiency for identifying unique solutions. Jessica’s authenticity, enterprising disposition, and collaborative aptitude make her an excellent contributor to industry strategy and ecosystem discussions.
Outside of the office, Jessica is involved in the Leader In Me program and is on the Master Plan Steering Committee for the Village of Goodrich. She is an avid reader and in her spare time enjoys camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities with her family.
