NATE Statement on President Trump’s Executive Action to Streamline Broadband Infrastructure Deployment

(Washington, D.C.) – NATE today applauded President Donald Trump for signing two executive orders on Monday to streamline and expedite rural broadband deployment. President Trump’s orders are anticipated to facilitate the future building of tower facilities and related-infrastructure necessary to bring much needed broadband internet to rural America.

“NATE thanks President Trump and his Administration for their leadership and the proactive approach they are taking in order to enhance rural broadband deployment,” stated Executive Director Todd Schlekeway. “NATE member companies are on the front lines making connectivity possible in all corners of the United States and stand ready to go to work to deploy and maintain new communications infrastructure in rural areas,” added Schlekeway.
