NATE Welcomes Senate Commerce Committee Vote on FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel

(Washington, D.C.) – NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association commends the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation for voting to extend Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel’s term on the Federal Communications Commission. NATE also congratulates Ms. Rosenworcel for the Committee’s endorsement, and urges the United States Senate to act promptly to confirm the nomination.

“NATE strongly supports FCC Chairwoman Rosenworcel for her continuing efforts to address critical communications issues in the United States, including such matters as broadband expansion, closing the digital divide and updating broadband maps,” said Todd Washam, NATE Director of Government Affairs and Wireless Industry Network. “We are very pleased that the Senate Commerce Committee approved her nomination today to continue at the FCC, and hope that the Senate will confirm her as soon as possible.”
