Women of NATE Chairwoman Andy Page Lee Featured Among Construction Dive’s 2021 Top Women in Construction

Not long ago, it was unusual to find more than just a few women working in a skilled trade or leading a team on a construction project. While women still only make up about 10% of the construction workforce, more females join the industry as superintendents, project managers, department directors, CEOs and tradesworkers every year. In 2021, women in construction are not only working to build some of the country’s largest and most important projects, they also are leaders in another important area: helping to recruit more women into the industry. Many women in construction act as mentors, teachers and advocates to help elevate the industry and make it an attractive career option for other women.
