Everybody Needs Somebody! Are You That Somebody? Women of NATE (WON) Invites You to Participate in the WON Mentorship Program.
In our careers, many of us have had that special someone who took us under their wing. They shared their knowledge, helped us establish and attain goals, expanded our horizons and encouraged us to try new things. They enabled us to grow both professionally and personally, they were confident, and someone you looked up to. Have YOU been that SOMEBODY?
I have just described WON’s Mentorship Program for both Mentors and Mentees. This program is about helping women and men in our industry learn, grow and achieve goals. WON is now accepting applications for Mentors and Mentees. The WON Mentorship Program launched in March 2019 and currently has ten Mentor+Mentee partnerships. These partnerships have proven to be meaningful and valuable for participants. Some of our mentors say it best….

MENTORS
If you have been in the industry for at least three years, perhaps you are ready to invest a small amount of time in becoming a mentor. Don’t think you are qualified? Don’t know where to start? Don’t know how to mentor someone? We can help get you started and are here to support your journey as you become someone’s SOMEBODY.
MENTEES
If you are new to the industry or have invested many years, you can still be a mentee. Are you willing to commit time to develop goals? Have open dialogue with your mentor? Commit to a meeting schedule with your mentor? Be the SOMEBODY who is willing to invest in your personal and professional lives. There are amazing people in this industry. Let’s create more mentoring partnerships to help support each other.
Please consider completing an application to become a mentor or mentee. Click the button below to apply. Applications need to be returned by January 10, 2020. This will allow us time to review the applications and make the matches. We will be conducting a kickoff session where you will learn how to get started. Still undecided? I am available to discuss your concerns and answer your questions. This is a program we believe is rewarding for both mentors and mentees. It does require a small investment of time and some organization skills to keep on track. But other than that, the mentor and mentee define the partnership.
