Here it is again, time for another article. This one was a tough one to put together.
I would like to talk about quality. Quality applies to everyone in the industry from manufacturers to installers. Some are ISO 9000 or TL 9000 certified while others are not. Does this mean that those who are not certified do poor work? Not necessarily. I have been in the industry for a short time compared to many others. But I have seen an increase in the level of awareness for quality. Installers take pride in their work, which is great to see. Manufacturers as well strive to provide a product that is of high quality. I am proud to be associated with one such manufacturer.
I am also proud that I am associated with a quality organization as NATE. The personnel in the NATE office do a great job. Thank you for your great work. The Board of Directors strives to keep us focused as an organization, for that I believe that they deserve a round of applause. Also the volunteers on the committees who dedicate their time to help to make NATE a better organization are to be commended. And lets not forget the membership. Without members, NATE would not exist. A big thank you for your continued support.
Lets keep up the great work and continue to bring in new members. I look forward to seeing all at the summer conference. God bless you all.
