Board of Directors Election Procedures
1. To qualify as a candidate for the NATE Board of Directors an individual must hold an executive position in a Voting Member company.

2. It is suggested that individuals make their candidacy known by submitting a brief position/background statement (maximum of one page in length) along with a color photograph, to Tower Times before June 1, 2002. Final deadline for announcing candidacy is September 1, 2002.

3. Tower Times will publish all candidate information in the July 2002 - November 2002 issues of Tower Times.

4. By the end of October, each NATE Voting Member company will be sent voting materials consisting of a ballot, candidate profiles, candidate photographs and rules for casting their vote.

5. Each ballot will be sent via secured mail to ensure delivery.

6. Voting members will be required to return their ballots to the NATE office by November 30, 2002.

7. To be elected to the Board of Directors, a candidate must receive at least 51% of the votes cast.

8. Once all available Board positions have been filled by candidates receiving 51% or more of the vote, all candidates will be advised of the results of the elections.

9. Results of the Elections will be announced in the February 2003 issue of Tower Times.

10. Those elected to the Board of Directors will begin serving their two-year term at the annual meeting in February 2003.

11. The newly elected Board will choose its executive officers at the annual meeting.
