To those of you who have companies "Riding the Line" and swearing at the 200’ rule in OSHA’s Compliance Directive CPL 2.1-29, stop swearing!
NATE Administrator Patrick Howey just this past week learned from the Assistant Secretary of Labor’s office in Washington, D.C., that the 200 foot exclusion has been removed.

NATE makes a difference.
We were reminded of this once again during the last week of March, when the NATE office received word that the final action had been taken to remove the two- hundred foot exclusion from the personnel hoisting procedures contained in CPL 2-1.29.
